2025 FUNDING & GRANTS ROUNDS

SIF is pleased to announce that in 2025 there is up to £1.4 million available for distribution to the charitable sector, which is an increase of 52% compared to 2024. Around £300,000 of this amount will be allocated to our Small Grants programme, with the remainder for Major Grants.

SIF will open two rounds of Major Grants and two rounds of Small Grants applications this year. The first round of Small Grants will open early February and Major Grants applications will open in March. Further rounds of both programmes will open again in the autumn, dates to be confirmed.

The limit for Small Grants applications will now be up to £15,000 (it was previously up to £25,000), with Major Grants from £15,000 upwards. The main application criteria remain largely the same as for 2024,  including no ongoing salary costs within the Small Grants programme. However, for the second round of Small Grants we have decided to focus on arts, culture and sport – although we will accept applications from all sectors.
